Hunter Model PT, PF & PE

Heavy-Duty Pit Alignment Rack

Hunter Engineering has 3 separate heavy-duty truck and bus pit rack alignment models. Though each has unique differences, they all offer shallow pit alternative or full-depth pits for maximum efficiency.  

MODEL PE - HD PIT RACK

The Model PE is Hunter's medium-duty pit rack that can handle a wide range of track widths.  It has an adjustable pedestal, a 36" pit depth, a 50 ton work beam and a 10,000-lb. front axle capacity.  

MODEL PF - HD PIT RACK

The Model PF heavy-duty alignment system with beam is versatile.  This pit rack comes with an 18,000-lb. maximum front axle weight capacity and a 58" pit depth which allows a technician to work upright. It also has a 100 ton work beam capacity; removable heavy-duty runways to provide additional workspace and an adjustable runway that can handle a wide range of track widths. 

MODEL PT - HD PIT RACK

Hunter's Model PT heavy-duty alignment T-pit system uses a full length rail system that supports the use of optional jacks for both front and rear axle lifting.  It has an 18,000 maximum front axle capacity and a 58' pit depth that allows technicians to work comfortably and upright. 

Some of the more popular equipment upgrades for these heavy-duty pit racks include: 

• HD Pit Jack - 32,500 lbs. total capacity, air and hydraulic power, availabl on the PT and PF models

• Rolling Jack Support - Provides lifting on any axle at any point on the rails 

• Turnplates - Heavy-duty truck turnplates with Powerslide on a rack mount sled
